We are located on the Outer Banks of North Carolina also known as the OBX. Driving time from Virgina Beach/Norfolk is 1 hours. From Richmond or Raleigh, we are approximately 3 1/2 hours. Free NC Ferry Service is provided for a "back roads" trip from Virginia Beach to the Knotts Island, N.C. The Currituck Mainland Ferry Dock is only 20 minutes for our Walnut Island location.The Knotts Island-Currituck Mainland Ferry only runs during daylight hours.
